Emergency turn-around collision after vehicle makes sudden stop - $450,000 settlement

K. H. v Insurance Company, et al. ($450,000 settlement). Client sustained multiple injuries when a southbound motorist drastically slowed her vehicle on a highway in order to make an illegal tum into an emergency turn around roadway that linked the northbound and southbound highway lanes. Client, who also was southbound, had to suddenly brake and then direct her vehicle into a grass median in order to avoid a rear end collision. Client's vehicle, which was traveling at high speed, struck the Defendant'S vehicle in the emergency turn around.
